LYALL WATSON

Obituary to Lyall Watson

Lyall Watson passed away peacefully on the 25th June 2008. He was cremated and his brothers scattered his ashes into the Pacific Ocean off the Australian coast.

Lyall Watson became my friend during the time he assisted me with An Elephant Bloodline. We spent many days together at Giraffe farm. This remarkable biologist, adventurer and explorer, who investigated amongst other things, the paranormal, has left us all with much to ponder on.

He worked on the international whaling commission for many years, to save the whales.
According to his brother Craig, “As Lyall’s ashes blue into the sea, a pod of about 20 to 25 humpback  whales, with their calves, swam in, to within 200 metres from the steep cliffs where we stood”.

Perhaps they knew!

He will be sorely missed
